Business Development Manager

The Indy Chamber is seeking qualified candidates to serve as Business Development Manager for the Indy Partnership – Regional Economic Development. This position is responsible for identifying companies that may consider making capital investments and creating jobs in the US Midwest – with the ultimate goal of locating those projects within the nine-county Indianapolis region in Indiana (i.e. Marion County, Boone County, Madison County, Johnson County, Hamilton County, Morgan County, Shelby County, Hendricks Country and Hancock Country). Areas of primary focus include marketing the nine-county Indianapolis region to prospective companies and their advisors; recruitment of businesses; formation, management, and execution of business development strategies and workplans; extensive relationship building; and support project management and international business development, as needed.

Financial Analyst /Accounts Payable

The Financial Analyst & Accounts Payable Accountant contributes to Chamber goals of membership, community, revenue, and relationship growth by maintaining positive relationships with vendors and protecting the assets of the Chamber by paying approved purchase orders accurately and as scheduled.

There are a variety of duties performed by members of the Accounting Department of the Chamber and, while various responsibilities, activities, and tasks performed in this department are assigned to specific individuals, daily responsibilities may shift from time to time as requested by the Chief Financial Officer.  The ability to work with other members of the department as a functioning team is critical.

Project Assistant – Economic Development

The Project Assistant – Economic Development contributes to Chamber goals by managing a variety of projects and initiatives and by providing administrative support to the Vice President of the Indy Partnership and the Vice President of Develop Indy. The responsibility of the Project Assistant – Economic Development is to provide management of scheduling, prepare routine and advanced correspondence, including letters, memoranda and reports as needed. Hispanic Businesses Program Coordinator

 

 

The Hispanic Businesses Program Coordinator contributes to the Business Ownership Initiative (BOI) by supporting the Hispanic Business Council Director. The responsibility of the Program Coordinator is to conduct community outreach and recruitment of new Hispanic or Latino clients to BOI’s counseling, planning services, and program executions. Responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting and conducting group orientation sessions for the monthly workshops, providing support in the 5 Cs of Credit in the lending process and preparing clients who have not yet incorporated as a business and helping them as potential borrowers in the financial process.
